Most of the people looking at this photo don't remember this period, but I do. Be sure to read the text under the photo. That puny little mouse, Bush, called his war against Iraq "Shock and Awe," Iraq was a puny little country unable to win against us no matter what.

My dears, Shock and Awe pretty well describes those first atomic explosions, the whole world was in a state of Shock and Awe, Something magically evil had happened. Something beyond anything humanity had ever had the power to do.

And that was true. We'd stolen the power of the gods. Not being gods, we've never figured out how to keep this power under control.
