Wild-Assed Conspiracy Stuff

-- by Dave Johnson

At King of Zembla, Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff and 9/11 terrorist Mohammed Atta -- Atta and other hijackers took a Sept. 5, 2001 cruise on one of Abramoff's casino boats. Why?

It gets interesting if you follow the links in these posts.

I report, you decide. (Heh.)

Dark hints, and it's hard to see how close this gets us to "powerful Republicans" at this point. Guilt by association, or something really meaningful lurking here? I'm glad to see this making the blogs, because otherwise it sure isn't going to make the news the media reports.

I'm glad to see it too. Given how much mileage (and ultimately how many corpses) the right has gotten out of the flatly untrue story of an Iraqi intelligence officer meeting with Atta in Prague (when he was in fact not even on that continent), I think it's fitting to circulate a story that George W. Bush had pretty much the same degree of separation from Atta as Saddam.
