This is an incredible mess and I don't intend to sign up for it, regardless. It's designed to be a disaster. I haven't heard what my HMO, which now includes drug benefits, is planning to do. I've been getting mail from EPIC, the NY state program for drugs for the elderly, but there's an income limit, set reasonably high so it covers people who aren't necessarily living at the povety level, to sign up for it. But at least they're planning to continue offering their plan regardless of what the federal government does. I guess that's another reason why I'm stuck living here!
