US Agent Executed As Result Of White House CIA Leak?

-- by Dave Johnson

As previously discussed at Seeing the Forest, a Kos diary today, TreasonGate: The little-discussed ace in the hole asks if a CIA agent was killed as a result of the White House leak of the identity of an undercover CIA agent,

Wayne Madsen, a reporter and former NSA employee, has claimed, "CIA sources report that at least one anonymous star placed on the CIA's Wall of Honor at its Langley, Virginia headquarters is a clandestine agent who was executed in a hostile foreign nation as a direct result of the White House leak."
I think the title of this Kos diary is unfortunate, and some of the tone. We're talking about a government that has caused possible loss of life, damage to our country and our safety, not about some political "us vs them" game. But it is possible that one reason the prosecutor is taking this so seriously is that the leak very well could have led to loss of life.

It's a good question for the daily White House briefing, "Were any agents or sources killed as a result of the leak?"

The people over at Kos are almost as bad as the people at LGF. It really is sad, but I think anyone with any brains, or isn't being paid, is now an independant. Both parties are corrupt through and through. Especially in D.C.

If that happened, and it is a real possibility, I seriously doubt that we would ever find out.

There is no quick and easy fix, no "ace in the hole". It was the desire for and insistance on instant gratification that got us into this mess; let's not buy into the idea that we can do the same thing better than them.

I think we should spend a little more energy planning how we are going to begin repairing the damage of the last 6-8 years and a lot less speculating and salivating about regaining power through default alone.

Big picture: Cheney's going to be replaced and then Bush will be impeached. Whoever replaces Cheney will become another unelected president of the United States. So who's the smart money on? McCain, Powell... Most potential candidates are so contaminated you'd need a 10-foot pole just to drop them in the trash can.

Replacement for Chenny?---Jeff Bush and just for surprize---Marvin Bush--you know the brother that got his Jewish name from Colonel Heb Bush in the confederate army.Same guy that had the security contracts at WTC and airports. Now that would please Sharon.
Just maybe junior might appoint mommie to V.P.

Every incumbant must be defeated in the coming election cycles. Dysfunctional government can be transformed by getting rid of the self-serving creeps who now inhabit DC.

Wayne Madsen is a total loon. He should be ignored. His "reporting" is about as reliable as stuff you find on Rense or ConspiracyPlanet. If you actually read his stuff, you'll be able to see the difference between how he "reports" and actual reporters. Wayne makes assertions of fact without evidence, draws chains of inferences as evidence and makes leaps of logic.

We lefty bloggers need to stop referring to him as if he has a shred of credibility.
