The neglect of this story not only by the media, but by most of the Democratic leadership and much of the liberal blogosphere, was one of the things which discouraged me from continuing to do political blogging. People are so afraid of the "conspiracy theorist" label that they roll over and play dead whenever something like this happens. The crooks have the good guys intimidated.
