Bush Above Law - Bush IS Law

Nitpicker: Former Ashcroft counsel says president is above the law.
Republicans are saying that the Constitution gives Bush UNLIMITED power because we are, as they like to say, "at war." Keep in mind that they also say we will continue to be "at war" for decades.
I forget, are we at war with Eurasia or Oceania this year?

If the president is above the law, what would stop him from canceling elections untill his declaired WAR is over? Our laws are fore every person not excluding the president. George W. Bush is an American citizen and bound by the same laws we all are. We must hold him accountible fore every infraction without pardon.
