Lame joke, of course. Why should a president need anything to hide behind? It translates into "I'm just a little boy and it's not nice to pick on little boys (sob)"

The argument that we should restrict our civil liberties during "wartime" is absurd. Our nation is constantly "at war" and will be "at war" forever somewhere. It is about time that we got some balls and challenge this Republican absurdity and get on with our lives.
The United States is a professional warrier. Or civil liberties are important all the time.
