Does Congress know about this, I wonder? Whatever happened to the separation of powers and the obligation of Congress to declare war?
They will try to fit this in under the act authorizing the President to fight the war on terror. They will claim that this is not a war.
Can't say I am surprised - nothing coming from this Administration (and from its Australian counterpart) shocks yours truly any more.
