I don't know if it matters that much Dave. Wre get ourselves together and stop one atrocity or another, declre victory:

Then let it go so they come back and do what they want without our interference anyway. Look at what we did with Social Security. We won.

We put the fight all together and then let it be dismantled:

They are comming back around to do it again and we are letting them make us spend our time on flagburning and gay marriage. Take a look at the upcomming bills this week:

Upcoming Votes

Fetus Farming Prohibition Act of 2006 - S.3504

During a week of debate on several stem cell bills, the Senate will consider this bill that would prohibit the practice of deliberately initiating a human pregnancy to obtain fetal cells or tissues.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alternative Pluripotent Stem Cell Therapies Enhancement Act - S.2754

This bill would promote research into stem cells that are not derived from fetuses.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act - H.R.810

The Senate is scheduled to take up this House bill that would require the Department of Health and Human Services to support and promote research on human embryonic stem cells.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marriage Protection Amendment - H.J.Res.88

The House is scheduled to take up this proposal to amend the Constitution to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pledge Protection Act - H.R.2389

This House bill would give each state the authority to decide the constitutionality of the Pledge of Allegiance rather than the federal courts.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act - H.R.5684

The House is set to vote on this pact establishing a free-trade zone with the Middle East nation of Oman.

So they're gonna sue, eh? Figures, doesn't it? Not that they'd get anywhere since nobody's said anything that isn't true, but it will cost money to fight this, so it's harassment. That's what they do. Anybody who displeases them, and having the truth come out about who and what's behind their slimy tactics, is certainly going to displease them and then some!

Your article is excellent, by the way, and extremely well researched. We really need this kind of thing out to the public, and with the election coming up, we need it right now because they're certain to be using the same tactics. So thanks for writing it. It's a public service.

O'Neil can't be that stupid. Suing opens him up to the discovery process. In discovery, anything that is reasonably caluculated to lead to admissible evidence is subject to the discovery process. A good lawyer could have a lot of fun with O'Neil and the Swifties. Furthermore one of the Admirals changed his story on Kerry 3 times. He'll be fun to cross exam and I expect his deposition would be taken early as he appears to little stomach for this and if you can show a timing of payments and story changes...

O'Neil will threaten, but he ain't going to do anything.
