The right is runnig with a smear that John Edwards was boo'ed at a John Mellencamp concert.

I remember seeing a Kinks concert in the late 1970's where Johnny Cougar was the "unknown" headliner. I had never heard such a chorus of boo's and catcalls as Cougar took the stage. As Garth said, "We fear change".
Not to take away anything away from Mellencamp's current progressive views, but concert-goers in general are the most reactionary types.
