Bush Vetoes Torture Ban

The President of the United States - YOUR United States - today vetoed a bill banning torture.

Bush Announces Veto of Waterboarding Ban,

President Bush said Saturday that he has vetoed legislation meant to ban the CIA from using waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics because it "would take away one of the most valuable tools on the war on terror."
Congress can not override the veto because most of the Republicans voted against the ban, and continue to support torture.

It is time to be in the streets.

Watch your backs.
