Sara Robinson says the marriage of the Republican Party with the birthers, teabaggers and town hall disruptors is a very, very dangerous sign for our country.
This is a must-read!

Mrs. Robinson writes that fear is the tool used by the "Fascists." What is she doing with this article? The entire thing is a scare-tactic. It's ok for her to use it though, because she is right, right? Ya right.
Even your tagline there, "Must Read!" As if this is an emergency. "The US is fascist!" No, it isnt.
It's just that people dont share your views. I know that really stupefies you guys, but its true. Its really that simple. People dont share your views. "Well, why would people disagree with us? We are so OBVIOUSLY right! It must be a conspiracy!" Again, No.
"America's conservative elites have openly thrown in with the country's legions of discontented far right thugs. They have explicitly deputized them and empowered them to act as their enforcement arm on America's streets, sanctioning the physical harassment and intimidation of workers, liberals, and public officials who won't do their political or economic bidding."
So the thousands of senior citizens showing up for these meeting are "discontented far right thugs"? Erm, that doesnt seem right...Oh she must mean that all the people who are questioning and speaking out against the policies and issues are all far right thugs. ...Wait, no that doesnt make sense either. Well now Im stumped. Who are these thugs? Where are they? And where are all these submission beatings taking place? They should be stopped! Problem is, they...dont...um...exist?
She also writes:
"From here, it escalates, as minor thuggery turns into beatings, killings, and systematic tagging of certain groups for elimination, all directed by people at the very top of the power structure. After Labor Day, when Democratic senators and representatives go back to Washington, the mobs now being created to harass them will remain to run the same tactics -- escalated and perfected with each new use -- against anyone in town whose color, religion, or politics they don't like. In some places, they're already making notes and taking names."
"Theyre already making notes and taking names." Kind of like how Obama and the White House have asked people to let them know when someone speaks out against him and his policies?
This article is hipocritical, uses the same arguments and tools that she argues AGAINST, and doesnt make sense. Then again, making sense is something people like her arent that worried about.
I REALLY wish people who hate the United States would quit trying to run it.
